Situated in the heart of Whitby Old Town

This is a traditional Whitby townhouse. It has great character including a first floor sitting room with original floor to ceiling oak panels. It is situated in a yard, of which there are many in Whitby. A yard is basically an alley way which leads to a small courtyard of houses. The yard leads to Chruch Street which leads to the bottom of The Steps. This is an extremely old property which retains many original features, one of which being sloping floors and staircases, some of which are quite steep. Therefore, this property is not recommended for those with walking difficulties.

Ground Floor

Open plan kitchen / dining room with wood burning stove and 2 seater sofa.
Utility Area with washer / dryer and dishwasher. Plenty of space for walking boots etc.

First Floor
Wood paneled sitting room with real fire, TV, DVD, Video & CD Player.
Twin Bedroom

Second Floor
House bathroom with roll top bath, sink and w.c.
Master Bedroom with two seater sofa, TV, Vanity Unit and en-suite shower room with shower and W.C.

Third Floor
Small single bedroom.
Twin room - please note this is in the loft area of the house and has one wall with open beams and does not have a doorway, it is in effect an open plan area.
Due to the age of the building the ceilings are quite sloped and it is not possible to put wardrobes in either of these two rooms. The master bedroom does have ample storage space.
