This cottage has just been lovingly restored to provide very comfortable accommodation for 8 people. It has been thoughtfully designed with antique pieces which give this cottage a unique feel. The cottage is next door to the Wheatsheaf Inn which is a delightful country pub serving meals everyday (except Sunday night and Monday). This is a traditional country pub which does not have an extended license. This is an ideal cottage for those wanting a peaceful location but within very easy access to an excellent place to eat. Ground Floor:-
Open plan kitchen and sitting room with open fireplace.
The stairs lead up to the back door and then up to the next two floors.
There is a doorway from the kitchen which will be locked but you can unlock from your side and leads to the bar. (The Wheatsheaf offers 3 bed and breakfast rooms, the room you enter via your kitchen is the sitting room bed and breakfast guests - you are not directly next to the bar). This is ideal if children wish to use the pool room without having to go through the bar.
First Floor:-
Double bedroom and en-suite shower room with shower, wash hand basin and w.c.
Twin bedroom and en-suite shower room with shower, wash hand basin and w.c.
Second Floor:-
Double Bedroom
Small bedroom with 2 bunks (these are only really suitable for children)
Bathroom with rolltop bath, wash hand basin and sink.
Please note that there are some height restrictions on the top floor due to sloping ceilings and beams.
Outside:-
Patio with BBQ and garden furniture.
This is for your sole use, however, it is not separate from the pubs garden area. You also have use of the table tennis table.
There is also a table and chairs at the front of the house for your sole use - here you can enjoy views across the village.
